I was offered a chance to work on a line of “G.I. Joe” style toys at the beginning of 2001, and chose the fire and police action figures. (What none of us could have expected, sadly, was just how popular these replicas of first responders would be that Christmas.) I enjoyed writing some of the copy along with designing unique logotypes for each of the characters.
