Movie Posters
Even though the glory days of lavishly illustrated, spectacular posters are but a fading memory, it's still a good challenge to capture the essence of a story on a single sheet.

San Francisco Jazz Festival
These postcards packed a lot of notes into a tiny package.

Oakland East Bay Symphony
The symphony needed a new look for their concert programs that was easier to scan, more inviting to advertisers, and less expensive to produce. The results were so successful that we’re back for our fourth season.

CFQ Media
This series of house ads were developed for the relaunch of Cinefantastique and Femme Fatales magazines in 2002, and were so successful that they ran for years afterward.

Dance and Drama Posters
These “no-budget” promos for small arts organizations still served their purpose: to pique the audience’s curiosity and provide a point of focus for selling a provocative show.

21st Century Toys
We were offered a chance to work on a line of “G.I. Joe” style toys at the beginning of 2001, and enjoyed writing some of the copy along with designing unique logotypes for each of the characters and vehicles.
“The ads and posters were great! People were excited by them— and nobody wanted to miss the show. We got a terrific response”
—Suze Allen, artistic director, Iambe’s Bones Studio
